"Till I come,
attend to the public reading of scripture, to preaching, to
teaching."
Timothy 4:13
Christian Education for all
ages
Christian Education is offered to all ages. (please refer to
W.O.W.)
Sunday Studies
The Education Committee provides Sunday Studies for children
age three through grade 5 during Sunday 10:30 a.m. worship
service. It is held in an area near the sanctuary. The children
stay with their parents in worship until after Children's Time
and then are dismissed to Sunday Studies.
ALPHA
Based on the book "Questions Of Life" this class studies the
basic foundation of faith and asks questions such as, "Who is
Jesus?"..."How Can I be Sure Of My Faith?" Watch for details on
our next Alpha session.
W.O.W. (Word on
Wednesday)
Word on Wednesday combines a casual dinner with varied studies
throughout the year. In the past, we have offered an ALPHA
series, discussion of Christian art, a series on the mission and
purpose of the church in the world, and a marriage series.
Dinner is from 6-7 p.m. and Christian Education is from 7-8 p.m.
Our Middlers and Senior High youth groups and Kid's Club
(elementary age children) meet during this time and the nursery
is open for your little ones.
Pastor's Bible Study
On Mondays at 12 noon, from Sept.-May, the Pastor leads a
Bible Study using the scripture readings for the upcoming
Sunday. All are invited to attend this weekly study.
Summer Camps
During the summer, while regular Sunday School is in recess,
we encourage young people to attend United Methodist Summer
Camps and we provide campership money upon request.
