Congregations for Kids - Warm
Coat Drive Underway!
From Sunday, Sept. 21st to Sunday, October 12th, we are
collecting jackets and coats for grades K through high
school, which will be distributed to families in need.
This year, we're looking for lightweight or fleece
jackets, vest and hooded sweatshirts. These may be
new or gently used (clean, no rips or stains, pockets
emptied and no identifying names or phone numbers).
Please bring your donation to the church office.

African Arts and Crafts
Coming in October...
African Team Ministries crafts and jewelry
are coming to St. Peter's on Sunday, Oct. 5th and 12th.
The items will be for sale in the Fellowship Hall after
10:30 a.m. church. Just in time for your holiday
shopping, these handcrafted art pieces and jewelry are
made in Africa and sold throughout the world, with
proceeds benefiting orphan and refugee relief, missions
and evangelism in East Africa.
Frank Runyeon's "Sermon on
the Mount" -- Oct. 19th!
Our annual Anna Scruggs' Concert series is proud to
present TV star Frank Runyeon, who will perform his
remarkable "Sermon on the Mount," during the 10:30 a.m.
service on Sunday, Oct. 19th. Mr. Runyeon has
starred in over 1,000 television shows during the past 20
years, and is an honors graduate of General Theological
Seminary and Princeton Universtiy. Please visit his

Feeding the Homeless...
We will gather at St. Peter's on Sunday, Nov. 9th at 6:45
a.m. to drive to Seattle First Methodist Church to help in
serving breakfast to over 300 of Seattle's homeless.
If you would like to join us, please call the church
office to reserve your van seat - space is limited.
"Home for the
Holidays" Bazaar - Nov. 21st (9a-5p), 22nd (9a-4p)
Come to St. Peter's for everything you'll need to fill
your home with the sights, scents and sounds of the
holidays! We'll have homemade cookies,
candies, breads, jams and jellies; unique wearable art and
accessories; handmade gifts for special giving;
toys for the young and the young at heart; Thanksgiving
and Christmas decorations. We'll also feature a
wonderful array of 'drawing' items including specialty
gift baskets and a My Friend Mandy and Jenny doll
set, complete with handmade wardrobe (you don't have to be
