do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under
compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Child Care Center
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am and 12:30
pm, Sept.-June, the child care center is open to support parents of young
children by offering quality childcare and creative activates in
a Christian setting. Volunteers from the church make this
possible. For information on the Child Care Center, click the

Missionary in Nepal
St. Peter's has a Covenant Relationship with Rev.
Devi Bhujel in Nepal. Through the General Board of Global
Ministries, St. Peter's supports Rev. Bhujel with donations from
the congregation and funds received from projects such as
The Great Spring
Yard Sale!.
Prayer Group members also support Devi in their daily meditation
and prayer. Currently, efforts are directed toward
building and furnishing churches on land already purchased, as
well as providing scholarships for student pastors.
Breakfast for the Homeless
St. Peter's assists Seattle First Methodist Church in
providing breakfast for the homeless on the fourth Sunday of the
even numbered months. Our church van, which holds 14
people, leaves St. Peter's at 6:45 a.m. on those Sundays and
returns at about 10 a.m., having fed about 250 homeless in
Seattle.
Strategic Planning Team
This team's work includes a review of the church's legacy,
careful assessment of the needs of the people in the church's
geographic area, and an analysis of the church's resources,
including financial and personal talents. A response to a local
mission field self-assessment instrument, provided by the
conference can be read by clicking to this link:
